Viola Sztabor - Woonsocket

Viola (Perrico) Sztabor, 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 15, at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Thaddeus Sztabor.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Rocco and Annunziatta (Ciccoletta) Perrico.

She worked in various mills in the area and for the Woonsocket School Department's lunch program prior to retiring. She was a member of the Precious Blood Seniors and the Holy Name Society of St. Anthony. She enjoyed bingo, puzzles, participating in Senior Center activities, playing cards, and loved to cook for her family.

Viola is is survived by two sons, Steven Sztabor and his wife Rosemary, and Michael Sztabor and his wife Michelle, all of Woonsocket. Five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also the sister of the late Laura, Sue, Lena, Albert, Dominic, John, Anthony, and Victor. She was also the grandmother of the late Samantha DiSpirito.

A funeral home service will be held on Friday, May 21, at 11 a.m., in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, RI 02895, followed by burial in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm Street, Blackstone, Mass.
