Empowerment Factory offering free art classes

PAWTUCKET – The Empowerment Factory is offering free, virtual and in-person art classes geared toward elementary youth beginning in July. The classes are in collaboration with the Rhode Island Department of Education. Each child who enrolls will get a creativity kit with supplies for the class as well as a fun learning experience from TEF staff, states a press release.

Courses include in-person, indoor/outdoor “Reading Adventures,” remote-learning “Nature Drawing: Endangered Animals” and “Nature Drawing: RI Animals,” and in-person, outdoor “Art in the Park.”

All Rhode Island elementary students are eligible to register for up to four courses during the summer semester. Space is limited. Families are encouraged to visit www.empowermentfactory.org/free-art-adventures for more information and to register.
