Slater Park Summer Camp program details announced

PAWTUCKET – The Pawtucket Parks & Recreation Division will be conducting a two-session summer camp program for Pawtucket residents to be held at Slater Memorial Park, starting Tuesday, July 6, through Friday, Aug. 13, for children ages 6 through 13.

The summer camp program will be conducting two three-week sessions this summer from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The first session will take place from Tuesday, July 6, through Friday, July 23. The second session will begin on Monday, July 26, and continue through Friday, Aug. 13. There will be no camp held on Monday, Aug. 9, in observance of Victory Day. There will be a cost of $30 per child, per session.

Organizers say parents/guardians should review the Slater Park Summer Camp packet prior to registering their child, especially those instructions detailed on page 5. The packet includes registration requirements, online registration instructions as well as specific details about the camp program. Registrations that are not completed or not completed accurately will not be accepted and a refund will be issued.

This packet is available through the Parks & Recreation Division tab located on the city of Pawtucket’s website, . The packet will also be available at the Slater Park office lobby at 825 Armistice Blvd., Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Registrations will be accepted for one or both sessions.
