WOONSOCKET – The Woonsocket Harris Public Library announces the winners of this year’s poetry contest. The winners received a certificate and a gift card to a bookstore.

• K-2: First Place, “Complete” by Savannah Debroisse, Grade 1, RISE Prep; Second Place, “Dogs” by Landon Bousquet, Grade 2, Savoie Elementary; Third Place, “Oh Guinea pig” by Natalie Khongsaevankham, Grade 2, Savoie Elementary

• Grades 3-5: First Place, “I’m Alone” by Salimata Ndiaye, Grade 5, Citizens Elementary; Second Place, “My Dear Mexico” by Alejandra Rodiguez-Ponce, Grade 3, Citizens Elementary; Third Place, “Under the Summer Sun” by Ella Perron, Grade 5, St. Joseph’s School, West Warwick
