Abigail Austin, of Millville, Mass., received the Paul F. Boller Prize from the University of Massachusetts Boston Honors College. This award is given each year for the best thesis or history essay written by a graduating history student.

Jack Keefe, of Blackstone, Mass., received Outstanding Achievement in Liberal Studies for History at the Nichols College class of 2021 commencement ceremony held on May 15.

Adelaide Levenson, of Woonsocket, earned a University of Rhode Island Academic Excellence Award from the College of Arts & Sciences in chemistry.

Sydney Rose Gauthier, daughter of Marc and Jane Gauthier of Albion, graduated May 21 from Montserrat College of Art with a bachelor of fine arts degree. She was the student speaker at commencement and received dean’s highest honors for four years.

Rachel Forrest of Slatersville and Meghan Coppinger, Joseph Niemczyk, Alyssa Herrick, and Andrew Messier, all of Blackstone; were named to the winter dean’s list at Southern New Hampshire University.

Sarah Desrosiers, Karen Stirling, Taila-Rose Landry, Richard Rivera, Aaliyah Ortiz, Judith Toscano, and Stefen Lotus, all of Woonsocket; Christopher Moran, Alexandra Patterson, Brendan McDonough, Tiara Ferreira, and Adam Charlette, and Chris Pushee, all of Blackstone; and Sarah Handy, of North Smithfield, have been named to the winter President’s List at Southern New Hampshire University.

Matthew Houde, of Slatersville, received the Excellence in Data Science Award from Bryant University.

Emily Newton, of North Smithfield, a junior political science major, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at York College of Pennsylvania.

Nataly Neves, of Woonsocket, was inducted into the Rhode Island Onyx Senior Honor Society as part of the University’s 24th annual Black Scholar Awards at the University of Rhode Island.

Alex Erik Rithiphong and Jarod John Tessier, both of Woonsocket, have been named to the spring semester dean’s list at Wentworth Institute of Technology.
