Leslie Ann Johnson – Cumberland

Leslie Ann (Haworth) Johnson, of Cumberland, R.I., passed away peacefully on September 2, 2021, at the age of 35.

Leslie graduated from Smithfield High School in 2004 and earned a bachelor’s degree at Rhode Island College in 2009. Leslie had a drive and determination to work hard to succeed at everything she put her mind to and lived a fulfilled life; from obtaining a black belt in Taekwondo as a child, to becoming a kickboxing instructor at Ilovekickoxing.com, to working her way up from the bottom at Applebee's as a cook to becoming the General Manager – and winning numerous awards of recognition as manager of the year. Leslie’s kindness and strength touched the lives of people all around her.

Leslie enjoyed spending her free time gardening, reading books, baking, and spending time at the beach. Most of all Leslie enjoyed living a physically fit life and exercised regularly.

Leslie had an unquenchable thirst for life that took her all around the world. She loved traveling to new places and trying new things with her husband Patrick and her family; visiting China, South Korea, Europe & California. She vacationed in Maine every summer with the Johnson family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Gene Johnson, her parents Ralph and Haejung (Yoon) Haworth, and her sister Elizabeth Haworth and her husband, Kevin Williams, all of Atlanta Ga., and her sister Sarah Ethier and her husband, Richard, of Harrisville, R.I. Leslie also leaves behind her father- and mother-in-law, Gene and Mary Johnson, her sister-in-law, Leigh Johnson, and brother-in-law Nicholas Johnson and his wife, Myjorie, of Leominster, Mass., as well as her brother-in-law Aaron Johnson and his wife, Candace, of Connecticut. Leslie was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews; Madison and Gage Ethier, and Marielle, Elijah, Grace, and Adalyn Johnson. Leslie also leaves behind her two cats whom she loved very much, Coco and Jack.

Leslie will forever live on in our hearts.
