Peanut butter beer? Yes, please.

These two Pawtucket companies have achieved rapid growth as they've done their thing just a few hundred feet away from each other. There's Nuts 'N More, the company that got its big break on Shark Tank and has seen its nut butters embraced worldwide, and Foolproof Brewing Company, the local brewer that's grown its fan base with a deep assortment of flavors.

The common ingredient for these companies has been hard work from owners who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.

Now the two will have something else in common, as Foolproof has partnered with Nuts ‘N More to brew a peanut butter version of Foolproof’s popular Raincloud porter.

You heard that right, my absolute favorite ingredient on this planet mixed with one of my very favorite beverages.

The beer, which will be brewed, canned, and kegged by Foolproof, features a new dehydrated peanut butter produced by Nuts ‘N More, according to a release. "Peanut Butter Raincloud" will be released in all New England states before the end of September. The beer will be available in draft and four-packs of 12-ounce cans with a suggested retail price of $9.99.

“I can’t tell you how excited we are to be partnering with another local food artisan, particularly one that shares our hometown,” said Nick Garrison, president and founder of Foolproof. “If you like peanut butter and dark beer, this one is going to be right up your alley.”

“When Foolproof approached us with the notion of producing Peanut Butter Raincloud, we instantly knew this was going to be a terrific collaboration,” said Neil Cameron, co-founder of Nuts ‘N More. “Nothing makes us happier than two local companies joining forces.”
