Narrow River Pollock Street Boat Launch, South Kingstown [Map]
Also known as the Pettaquamscutt River, this waterway is a narrow tidal inlet that opens into the Atlantic Ocean at Narragansett Beach and is home to ospreys, egrets, herons, ducks, shorebirds and other species. If time allows, participants will stop to examine shells and sea creatures. Bring a snack or lunch, water and sunscreen. Cost: $55/member; $65/nonmember. Ages 16 and up. Equipment provided and included in the fee.
