CUMBERLAND – The Beacon Pole Hill Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution is offering a special program on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. “Moi Aussi!” Finding and Proving Your French-Canadian DAR Patriot, will be presented by Bonnie Wade-Mucia at the Cumberland Public Safety Complex, 1379 Diamond Hill Road.

Seating is limited and free Eventbrite tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

More than 350 French-Canadian citizens of the Revolutionary War era qualify as DAR Patriots and their thousands of descendants are eligible for membership in the society. This program that explains how to determine if you have a French-Canadian Patriot in your family tree and how to research and document your lineage for DAR membership, or your own interest.

Beacon Pole Hill Chapter member Wade-Mucia is a professional genealogist who specializes in forensic genealogy.
