PAWTUCKET – Keep Blackstone Valley Beautiful announces that litter kits are now available at local libraries

Want to help end litter, but not sure how to safely pick up the trash you see on our roads? Keep Blackstone Valley Beautiful and your local library has the way to help – check out a litter kit.

Ten local libraries in the Blackstone Valley are now offering “litter kits” for patrons to borrow. Each kit has supplies for four volunteers and includes litter grabbers, safety vests, trash bags, disposable gloves, sanitizing wipes and instructions. “Our goal is to make sure everyone is safe while they do a good deed for our environment,” explains Donna Kaehler of Keep Blackstone Valley Beautiful.

Litter kits are currently available at these libraries: Cumberland Public Library, Glocester Manton Free Public Library, Harmony Library, Lincoln Public Library, North Smithfield Public Library, Pawtucket Public Library, and Woonsocket Harris Public Library.
