PAWTUCKET – Butler & Messier Insurance has announced it has recently acquired two established Cranston insurance agencies to expand their statewide footprint. Effective Oct. 1, Butler & Messier successfully closed on the final purchase of the Alpine Insurance Agency, located at 2158 Plainfield Pike in Cranston. On Dec. 1, the company acquired Capuano Insurance Agency, at 1020 Park Avenue in Cranston.

With the addition of these two agencies, the Pawtucket-based Butler & Messier is bolstering its Cranston and Kent County presence. According to a news release, the most recent acquisitions allow Butler & Messier to expand service offerings further.

“We are pleased to conclude this year with the acquisition of two, successful agencies,” said Bruce Messier, president of Butler & Messier Insurance. “Both Alpine Insurance Agency and Capuano Insurance have a long-standing history of helping the people of Kent County protect what matters most. This commitment to community aligns perfectly with our company vision of continued company growth and responsible insurance guidance to local families and businesses.”
