BLACKSTONE, Mass. – In commemoration of its 200th anniversary, Christ Community Church of Blackstone awarded 12-year-old Julianna Leblond of Woonsocket a week-long overnight traditional camping adventure at Camp Wightman Camping Retreat and Conference Center in Griswold, Conn. Leblond won the church’s summer essay contest.

The theme of the essay was “Why I want to go to Christian Summer Camp.” Leblond is the daughter of Ashley Martin and Patrick Leblond, both of Woonsocket.
