CUMBERLAND – The Cumberland Public Library, 1464 Diamond Hill Road, is offering a blind taste test program, Name Brands vs. Store Brands on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 6:30 p.m. This program is geared to help save money in a world of inflation and high gas prices.

Store brands have come a long way, say the organizers, adding that you may be surprised to learn that your favorite brand names may be behind the store brand as well. Participants will also figure out the difference between “best by” and “use by” dates, and other ways to save at the grocery store.
