WARWICK – The Board of Directors of Wave Federal Credit Union has announced the appointment of David Dupéré, of Smithfield, as president and chief executive officer.
Dupéré was appointed following the retirement of Paul Archambault, who served in this role since 1995. Prior to this, Dupéré was the executive vice president and chief operating officer since 2008.
Prior to joining Wave, Dupéré served as president and chief executive officer of Warwick Municipal Credit Union (also known as Anchor Federal Credit Union) for 14 years. Prior to that he served for six years as treasurer and chief operating officer of Bayside and Bostitch Federal Credit Unions. Dupéré has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Bryant University and is a graduate of the CUNA Management, Financial Management, Regulatory Compliance and Executive Leadership Schools.
