PAWTUCKET – The Empowerment Factory will host its 5th annual Healthy Living Community Event on Sunday, Sept. 19, from noon to 3 p.m., in Payne Park, 225 West Ave.

The event will feature music, arts and crafts, competitions, prizes, storytelling, and unveiling art installations. There will be tons of prizes to be won and fun to be had. The first 50 children who register will get a goodie bag. Register at Everyone who registers will be entered to win the grand prize of a ChromeBook courtesy of Cox Communications.

Other prizes available to win include a new bike, toys and a variety of gift cards.

Register to enter the Sidewalk Chalk Drawing Competition next to the Elizabeth Baldwin Elementary School. Up to 10 children can participate in this competition.

Join guided walks along the Baldwin Loop Walking Path. Learn about the history of the Woodlawn neighborhood and the organization and stop at activity stations along the way to win prizes. Guided walks will leave from Payne Park at approximately noon, 12:30 p.m., and 1 p.m.

A knockout basketball tournament will be held from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
