LINCOLN – Pawtucket City Council member Sandra Cano and David Soucy, president of the Soucy Insurance Agency in Woonsocket, will be honored at the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 5 p.m. at Twin River Events Center in Lincoln.

Cano is this year’s recipient of the Chamber's Barbara Burlingame award, which was established in 2003 to honor the state representative and former Chamber vice president and recognizes an elected official who has made outstanding contributions to the business community.

Soucy will receive the Ben G. Mondor award, which was established in 2011 to honor the former owner of the Pawtucket Red Sox. This philanthropic award is given to someone who goes above and beyond philanthropically.

The keynote speaker at the Chamber's annual dinner will be Linda E. McMahon, administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
