NORTH SMITHFIELD – A “Stop the Bleed” program will be held Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at North Smithfield Town Hall, 83 Greene St.

The program is sponsored by R.I. Disaster Medical Assistance Team – Medical Reserve Corps, under the direction of Brooke Lawrence, executive director, and the Woonsocket Rotary Club International under the direction of President Pamela Jalette. The class is free to the residents of North Smithfield, with a free CAT-1 Tourniquet being given to the first 25 registrants.
