CENTRAL FALLS – A community forum about the driver privilege card will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Central Falls High School, 24 summer St.
Organized by the city of Central Falls and the Immigrant Coalition of Rhode Island, this forum will provide information on how to obtain a driver privilege card and answer any questions. Interpreters will be available.
In the wake of new legislation that allows immigrants to legally obtain their licenses as of July 1, 2023, the goal of the event is to help the community understand the process of how to obtain new driver privilege cards, including documentation and requirements, so that more individuals have the opportunity to drive safely and legally.
