PAWTUCKET – Native Green is inviting community members, government officials, and the press to a rally to commemorate Indigenous Peoples Day Rhode Island at the Pawtucket Veterans Memorial outdoor Amphitheater on the corner of Roosevelt and Exchange streets on Monday, Oct. 11, from noon to 4 p.m.

Speakers will be presenting from 1 to 3 p.m. to share the history of this land, and demanding the removal of the recently erected statue of William Blackstone.

Organizers say this event will follow ADA accessibility guidelines and CDC social distancing guidelines. Attendees are asked to wear masks.
