NORTH SMITHFIELD – A winning $1 million Mega Millions prize purchased in North Smithfield nearly a year ago is about to expire if no one claims it.

The winning Mega Millions Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Season's Corner Market, 780 Great Road in North Smithfield, on March 14, 2020, for the drawing on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2020. The ticket matched all five numbers, but not the Mega Ball number, for the $1 million win. The winning numbers for the drawing were 20, 27, 28, 58, 59, and the Mega Ball number was 25. The winner has until St. Patrick's Day this year, March 17, to claim the prize.

Melissa Juhnowski, Rhode Island Lottery spokeswoman, reminds players, "Check your glove compartment and your dresser drawers for any Mega Millions tickets you might not have checked yet. In all Mega Millions® drawings, there are eight other prizes besides the jackpot that you can win, including this $1 million prize."
