Blanche Paquin, 83, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, in the Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston. She was the wife of the late Roger J. Paquin.

Born in Woonsocket, R.I., she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Dolores (Paridise) Houle. Blanche resided in Cumberland for more than 20 years.

She was an avid reader and movie buff. Blanche enjoyed sewing and needlepoint in her spare time. She enjoyed going to the beach and swimming.

She is survived by her two children, Elaine Thomas and her husband, Michael, of Manville, and Richard Jacob and his wife, Heather, of Manville; her nine grandchildren: Jason, Melissa, Julie, Jen, Amy, Brandon, Elani, Kyle and Riley, and her 11 great-grandchildren: Lilly, Kameron, Kayden, Billy, Drew, Libby, Merideth, Bella, Cheyenne, Aria and Ella. She was also the mother of the late Donald Jacob.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
