Courneau Eileen

Eileen L. (Landry) Corneau, 84, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital Fatima Unit, North Providence.

She was the wife of the late Richard M. Corneau for 59 years prior to his passing in 2020. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Ernest R. and Beatrice M. (Tardiff) Landry.

She had resided in Central Falls prior to moving to Cumberland. She had been employed as a sales clerk at the former Ann & Hope Store in Cumberland.

Mrs. Corneau is survived by her sons, Ron Corneau of Salem, Mass., and Craig R. Corneau of Cumberland; her sister, Connie Emery, of Attleboro, Mass., and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Kenneth Landry.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2020, at 10 a.m., from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., in Historic St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Road. Cumberland. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Curran Road, Cumberland. Visiting is Wednesday morning prior to the funeral from 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen’s memory to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 964 Main St., Pawtucket, RI 02860, would be appreciated.
