Michael A. Plante, 68, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, at home.

He was the husband of the late Maureen E. (Hannaway) Plante.

Born in Attleboro, Mass., he was the son of the late Albert and Lorraine (Doyon) Plante. He resided in Lincoln for the past six years, previously residing in Pawtucket.

Mike was an avid woodworker and enjoyed golf, hockey, and basketball, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He was a supervisor for Texas Instruments, Attleboro, Mass., for 30 years until his retirement. He also worked for several years at Twin River as well as at Atlantic Golf.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa M. Sweet and her husband, Timothy M. Sweet Esq., and Michelle A. Turcotte and her husband, Kyle D. Turcotte, all of Lincoln; his brother, David R. Plante, of South Attleboro, Mass.; one sister, Pamela M. Plante, of Smithfield; his two grandchildren, Maura and Joey; along with several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Virginia Bertrand.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Michael's Life Celebration to be held with visiting hours on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, from 1 to 4 p.m., in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Route 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
