Michael P. Bostic, 60, of Lakeland, Florida, died Friday, September 10, 2021, of COVID-19-related illness at the VA Medical Center, Tampa, Fla.
He was the companion of Roberta Trachet. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of Kenneth L. and Cora (Laliberte) Bostic of Lincoln.
Mr. Bostic attended Lincoln Schools and Davies Vocational Technical School. He worked locally for Freeway Construction Company, doing painting and equipment maintenance until 1981. He moved to Florida and worked as an equipment operator and mechanic for the past 30 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. In his free time, Michael enjoyed boating and fishing, as well as remodeling.
Besides his parents and companion, he is survived by one daughter, Aleesha Bostic, and grandson, Leonardo, of North Providence; two brothers, Kenneth A. Bostic, and his wife, Diane, of Lincoln, and Anthony K. Bostic of Maine, and many nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, at 3 p.m., in Bellows Funeral Chapel, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call prior to the service from 1 to 3 p.m.
