City of Woonsocket - Zoning CITY OF WOONSOCKET - ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW AGENDA - MONDAY, JUNE 8, 2020 6:30 p.m. Location: Online Meeting via Zoom (see below for information on joining the meeting remotely) e Zoning Board of Review (the Board) will consider the following matters pursuant to Section 13.2 of the Zoning Ordinance (the Ordinance): I. NEW MATTERS: As noticed, all persons interested will be heard for or against the granting of the following applications pursuant to Section 13.2 of the Ordinance: Application No. 5824 MICHAEL G. KAMER, OWNER/APPLICANT: 58 Woodhaven Road also known as Lot 101 on the Tax Assessors Plat 61 located in an R-2 Low Density Single-family Residential Zoning District; led an application requesting a SPECIAL USE PERMIT pursuant to Sections 4.4(13) and 18.1.13 of the Ordinance seeking to maintain no more than 5-chickens in the rear yard of the subject property. e a applicant proposes to construct a 5 x 4 chicken coop 6.5-feet tall with an 8 x 4 chicken run attached to the coop. e lot in question contains approximately 10,890 square feet of land area. Application 5825 KEITH BEAUCHAMP & WAYNE BEAUCHAMP, OWNERS AND MENDON ROAD SOLAR, LLC, APPLICANT: Vacant land bounded by Mendon Road, Park East Drive and Armand Street also known as Lot 4 on the Tax Assessors Plat 50 located in an I-1 Light Industrial Zoning District; led an application seeking a SPECIAL USE PERMIT pursuant to Sections 4.7.9 and 6.15 of the Ordinance in the proposed construction of a 0.995 MW direct current (DC) Commercial/Industrial Solar Power System; Large solar installation and corresponding electrical equipment, equipment pad, utility poles, fence, and landscaping. e approximately 2,520 individual solar modules would be surrounded by a seven-foot high chain link fence enclosing an area of approximately 3.67 acres of land area. Additionally, a DIMENSIONAL VARIANCE is sought from Subsection 6 under the provisions for Commercial/ Industrial Solar Power System; Large to reduce the required height of the proposed fence from 9-feet to 7-feet. e lot in question contains approximately 256,940 square feet of land area or 5.91 acres.
