NORTH PROVIDENCE – The Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep/Achievement First co-op football team is off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2018, thanks to its 35-6 victory over North Providence High in their Division IV meeting last Saturday afternoon at the Cougars’ newly turfed Serio Field.

Sophomore quarterback Sha-Dean Lovett, who threw for 250 yards, fired three touchdown passes to senior wide receiver Alex Maia, who hauled in passes of 24 and 31 yards to help give the co-op team a 22-0 lead at halftime.
