Brian Newberry, running for re-election to represent District 48, says he can check off many promises he has kept during his tenure, from getting the master lever repealed, to passing voter ID, to pushing his colleagues to pay more for health insurance. He says he is also proud of his record in fighting tax increases and being a watchdog for state government.

Newberry said more recently he was lead sponsor of the Civics Literacy Act and led the charge to get Route 146 redone.
